Meet Kandice Freedman
Kandice Freedman is a private tutor and advocate for Exceptional Children throughout the South Florida area, with over a decade of experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Doctorate in Education. Freedman is also a wife and mother.
After teaching in Autism Clusters for several years, Freedman became an advocate upon discovering the disservices and injustices children with special needs faced. Morally compelled to make a difference, she decided to fight for those who were not always heard. Freedman now provides private tutoring and advocates for children with special needs, including ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Intellectual Disabilities, ensuring students receive the most out of their Free and Appropriate Public Education as mandated by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Freedman is passionate about advocating for children with special needs because she loves to help.
“I feel I help both the children and their families, and since this is such a sensitive world, it is important to remember that in my business ALL business is personal. My goal is to be a voice for the families of children with disabilities and make the IEP and 504 process a lot easier and less nerve-racking. I want my clients to know once they are working with me, I will work tirelessly so that they don’t have to.”
Freedman is available to provide services throughout Florida and even across the country, though she primarily works in the tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
