From the start of middle school in Florida I was extremely stressed and trying to deal with my child failing in subjects at school. Also, it was a constant struggle with the school system to advocate my child’s IEP. I was introduced to Kandice and she became not only my daughter’s tutor but also her Education Advocate. I am extremely impressed by how professional, knowledgeable and helpful she has been. My child has rebuilt her self esteem at now getting A/B grades and I have relief knowing Kandice helped me put in place the best IEP for my child. Also, my child has built a bond with her due to her caring attitude. I cannot express how genuinely happy and grateful my child and I are to Kandice. I recommend her to every parent.
We are so grateful and happy to have found Kandice. She helped with our daughter, Hannah’s IEP by going to our annual ESE meeting at school. She explained the process to us in a way the school never had and made changes that have benefited Hannah. Kandice has such an understanding of our daughter and her needs and tutors her in a way that helps her with her school work, which makes Hannah feel good about herself. She provides encouragement and reassures us that we are doing great by our daughter, which has helped ease our concerns. Having teenager is difficult, but Kandice has made our lives so much easier! My daughter who is in 9th grade and has a learning disability has always struggled in school, but Kandice has made sure to ensure my daughter is successful and that every accommodation she needs and desires has been satisfied on her IEP. Kandice has been our advocate for 3 years now and has a great relationship with both my family and the ESE Department of my daughter’s school. She is the best!
Kandice has changed my life. I have three children, two of whom fall on the Autism Spectrum Disorder umbrella. Kandice has worked as both our private tutor and advocate and turned my kids from low performing, socially inept boys to young men who are excelling in school and have friends! She works as a liaison between my family and the school and has made sure my kids IEP’s are absolute perfection. I am almost hesitant to recommend Kandice because then she will have less time for us!
